An absolute linear encoder creates a unique position signal that is available anywhere along the travel. There are two linear encoder body types (SHG/Spherosyn - shown below, and MHG/Microsyn) and a variety of output signals to select from.All of Newalls linear encoders carry an IP67 environmental rating and continually provide accurate, reliable readings even when fully submersed in water, oil or coolant. No other linear encoder matches the durability and reliability of Newalls reader heads and scales. |
